🏛 Qianling is unique both in China and globally as the only joint tomb of two emperors—a husband and wife. It is the final resting place of Emperor Gaozong of Tang and his wife, Wu Zetian, the only female emperor in Chinese history.

🏯 Historical Background

• Yide Crown Prince’s Tomb is the tomb of Li Chongrun, the grandson of Emperor Gaozong of Tang and Empress Wu Zetian.

• Li Chongrun was the eldest son of Emperor Zhongzong of Tang and Empress Wei. He was beaten to death in Luoyang for privately discussing Wu Zetian’s late-life affairs with his sister, Princess Yongtai, and brother-in-law, Wu Yanji.

• In 705, Emperor Zhongzong ascended the throne and posthumously honored him as Crown Prince with the title “Yide.” In 706, his remains were relocated to Shaanxi and buried near Qianling with imperial honors, designating the tomb as a mausoleum.

The signatures of the entrusted person on the travel contract and its attachments are recognized by all entrusting parties.
