Anlan Bridge (no tickets required) 4.7/5
🌉 Anlan Bridge, also known as the “Couple’s Bridge,” spans the dividing point between the inner and outer rivers of the Dujiangyan Project, with significant historical value.
📍 The bridge is supported by steel cables over the river, and the bridge piers have been replaced with concrete piles. The bridge sways when you walk across, providing an exciting experience.

13:30 Attraction/Exhibit 🏛️
Head to: Sanxingdui Museum (includes first entrance ticket) 🎟️ 4.5/5
Sanxingdui Museum is located at the northeastern corner of the Sanxingdui archaeological site, a national key cultural relic protection unit. It lies in the historical and cultural city of Guanghan, Sichuan Province, by the west side of Duck River, 38 kilometers south of Chengdu and 26 kilometers north of Deyang. It is a large modern thematic museum dedicated to the Sanxingdui site. The museum was founded in August 1992 and officially opened in October 1997.
The Sanxingdui ancient site covers an area of 12 square kilometers and has a history of 5000 to 3000 years. It features well-preserved eastern, western, and southern city walls, as well as the Moon Bay inner city wall. The Sanxingdui site is considered one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century, revealing that the Yangtze River basin, like the Yellow River basin, is part of the origin of Chinese civilization, earning it the title of “Source of Yangtze Civilization.”
The cultural relics of Sanxingdui are valuable human cultural heritage. Among the vast collection of Chinese relics, they have historical, scientific, cultural, and artistic value, and are some of the most visually spectacular objects. Among these ancient Shu treasures, there are many strange and bizarre bronze sculptures, including a 2.62-meter-high bronze figure, a 1.38-meter-wide bronze mask, and a 3.95-meter-high bronze sacred tree, all considered extraordinary masterpieces. The gold artifacts, such as the brilliantly colored golden staff, and the jade items like the pattern-adorned jade discs, are also rare treasures never seen before.
The Sanxingdui Museum currently has two exhibition halls, with a display area of nearly 12,000 square meters. It is divided into the first exhibition hall (comprehensive hall, showcasing gold, bronze, jade, stone, and pottery relics) and the second exhibition hall (bronze specialty hall). The two large exhibition halls are vast in scale and meticulously designed. The exhibits are arranged with a dynamic and static rhythm, creating an engaging narrative that blends knowledge, storytelling, aesthetic appreciation, and fun, effectively revealing the profound significance of Sanxingdui relics. It reflects the brilliant civilization of Sanxingdui, giving visitors the feeling of being transported back to an ancient land.
The Sanxingdui Museum occupies an area of about 33 hectares, with more than 80% of the area covered by greenery. The museum’s environment is beautiful, with a well-thought-out design that harmonizes dynamic and static elements. Meandering paths, weeping willows, ancient Shu treasures, and scenic lake islands reflect the perfect integration of humanity and nature, with a natural elegance and seamless charm typical of the Sichuan-Western garden style. The main architectural design of the museum aims to blend the landforms, historical sites, and artistic relics with a sense of divine beauty, combining primitive elements with modern atmosphere.
The first exhibition hall is designed as a semi-arc sloping ecological building, showcasing the human spirit of harmony between humans and nature. The second exhibition hall features a three-part, deformed spiral structure, symbolizing both the “stacked three stars” and the “evolution of human history.” Outside the museum, there is a grand, imposing ancient-style sacrificial altar and a large performance venue for modern cultural activities, which harmonizes with the architecture, expressing the ancient, majestic, and profound historical significance of the Sanxingdui culture.
The entrance ticket to the Sanxingdui Museum is included.
